Purple Thread is designed to help people make kindness a daily practice through guided activities and positive engagement. We believe privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Purple Thread mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

Depending on how you use Purple Thread, we may collect the following categories of information.
Account Information
When you create or maintain a Purple Thread account, we may collect your name, email address, username or profile name, any profile information you choose to provide, and your account preferences and settings.
Purple Thread Activity and Content
When you participate in Purple Thread, we may collect information relating to your use of the Services, including guided activities you participate in or complete, kindness activities or actions recorded within the app, posts or content you choose to submit, reactions and other interactions, your participation history, and other information you voluntarily provide. Please use care when sharing personal information in content that may be visible to other users.
Device and Usage Information
We may automatically collect certain technical information when you use Purple Thread, including device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, general usage information, app interactions and feature usage, crash and diagnostic information, and referral information. When an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize associated personal information as required by applicable law, subject to information we may need to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes. Some information may remain temporarily in backup systems before being deleted through our normal backup processes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include the right to request access to personal information we maintain about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, obtain information about how your personal information is used, withdraw certain permissions or consent where applicable, and object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.

Purple Thread will honor applicable privacy rights as required by law.
SECTION 9
Children's Privacy
Purple Thread is intended for people age 13 and older. The Founding 100 beta is currently limited to adults age 18 and older.
Purple Thread is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Purple Thread, please contact us at support@mypurplethread.com.
If Purple Thread later introduces features specifically intended for children or younger users, this Privacy Policy may be updated and additional parental consent and privacy protections may apply.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
