Not in the traditional sense. Purple Thread isn't built around followers, popularity or accumulating likes. Community features are meant to encourage connection and reinforce practice, not turn kindness into performance or competition.
No. Purple Thread is designed for people of all faiths and people who do not practice a religion, and it is not affiliated with any political party, candidate or movement. People can disagree and still choose to treat one another with humanity and respect.

About Purple Thread

Small, realistic acts: checking on someone, expressing appreciation, listening intentionally, offering help, reconnecting, or doing something thoughtful that might otherwise be forgotten. Purple Thread isn't about grand gestures. Small counts.
No. Purple Thread encourages consistency, not perfection. If an act doesn't fit your circumstances, boundaries or safety, skip it — you can continue tomorrow.
No. Sharing and community participation are optional. Some acts may be deeply personal and never need to be shared at all.
Only information you intentionally choose to share through available community features may be visible to others. Private activity and account information are handled according to Purple Thread's Privacy Policy.
Skip it. You know your circumstances, relationships, boundaries and safety better than an app does. Kindness should never require you to put yourself or someone else in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation.

Founding 100 members receive complimentary access during the initial beta period. Purple Thread may introduce different membership or access options as the platform develops. Any pricing will be clearly communicated before you're charged.
Purple Thread is intended for people age 13 and older. The Founding 100 beta is currently limited to adults age 18 and older.
Complete the Founding 100 application. If selected, we'll contact you with information about accessing Purple Thread and participating in the approximately 30-day beta.
